USC School of Medicine - USA.

We are a well known department of Preventive Medicine, focusing on Cancer Epidemiology since 1970. Much of our work involves collaboration with researchers outside our Los Angeles institution.

I currently use InterBase (FireBird 0.9) for a 4+ million record database of vital statistic data for the state of California. The users around the state access the data using the internet, via an encrypted and secure tcp/ip connection.

I used Unify (an RDBMS running on SCO) about 10 years ago, but have been a Delphi/Paradox guy for years. This is my first application using n-tier methodology - InterBase has been a solid core for this project.

Other components & tools I've used to make this happen include: ASTA, IBObjects, TurboPower's Lockbox and Marathon.
