The T.I.P. Group in France.

    T.I.P. Group S.A. uses InterBase since version 5.0 and now relies exclusively on version 6.0. We are developers of an integrated software suite designed for the accounting and operational management needs of small to medium accounts companies ('TIP Integral'). InterBase perfectly suits the database requirements of our market. It is simple to install, has a small disk and memory footprint, has excellent performance, does not require anybody to administer it, and more importantly, its 'multi-generational architecture' is a perfect fit to the needs of our software suite. It allows us to offer excellent concurrency within the application while some people run long-duration queries (reports, statistics, legal/accounting listings, ...) and others do real-time data entry of information. We speak here of shrink-wrap application suite, distributed to about 1500 customer sites mainly in Belgium and Luxemburg, but also in France, Netherlands, Czech Republic and soon Germany. Customer sites have any number of users from 1 to about 50, typically about 5 to 12.
